Flapdoodle-and-fluff

Helen. 25. Love: laughing, love, friends, reading, teaching, socialising and sharing random photos. Enjoy.

Amazing photos from the Hubble telescope. These three caught my eye.

Top photo: A ghostly ring of dark matter in a galaxy cluster designated Cl 0024+17.

Middle left: The coil-shaped Helix Nebula.

Middle right: Remnants from a star that exploded thousands of year ago.

Bottom: The tempestuous stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away from Earth in the southern constellation Carina.
